To celebrate the vinyl release of Shadow Hymns, Worshipper played their album front-to-back at the Norwood Newbury Comics location during daylight hours. Pretty sweet.
Worshipper @ The Sinclair 12.9.2015
Here’s your 2015 Boston Music Awards “Metal Artist of the Year” blowing minds at The Sinclair. Worshipper rules.
Bert And The Manual Transmissions @ The Dante Alighieri Society of Massachusetts 10.24.2015
If Wonder Woman and Captain America got married, you might imagine there’d be some pretty interesting guest at the reception. You’d be right. So when Bert from Sesame Street, Super Chicken, Barry Gibb, Vincent Vega, Buddy the elf, the milkman, a flapper, Mr. Moxie, Matthew Crawley, The Penguin and Brendan Haley J Mascis a wizard guy get up and play some Stones, Cheap Trick, Tom Petty and ‘Mats covers you shouldn’t be surprised. No, instead you should be thankful you have a pocket camera and snap a couple of pictures.
Oh, and you haven’t lived until you’ve seen Bert sing “Here Comes A Regular.”
Rock Bottom @ Cuisine en Locale 6.12.2015
Worshipper @ T.T. The Bear’s Place 3.30.2015
It’s Monday night. I’m at TT’s. Because Worshipper.
Worshipper @ The Sinclair 1.17.2015
And then there was Worshipper. There are stories from the time before they awoke. Hollow stories. Tales of emptiness and woe. No more! For having witnessed this glorious beast displaying its fiery plumage on stage at The Sinclair, I am here to tell you that the darkness comes. It wields a mighty riff and rides a thunderous groove. Prepare yourselves. It is wonderful.
The Irreverends @ Radio 11.1.2013
Every time The Irreverends get back together for a show, I’m there. They have the kind of dynamic songs and urgent delivery that command a room. The band’s first show in 2 ½ years found them playing their first new song in, well, even longer. I like where this is headed…
The Dirty Truckers @ Moe’s Lounge 10.12.2012
Hot, loud, sweaty and a little rambunctious could describe just about any Dirty Truckers gig. Confining the band and their cohorts to Moe’s Lounge made it inevitable at Bands For Babs.
Rule @ Radio 10.11.2012
Old school metal for a good cause. Rule closed out the first night of Bands For Babs at Radio with a blistering set. You know, typical Rule awesomeness.
