D-Tension’s Secret Project was recently unveiled at The Middle East Downstairs. Backed by the tight and versatile Secret Project Band, D-Tension hosted a slew of talented collaborators to perform the electro-pop hits of the companion album. Cool idea. Well executed. Fun night.
Nemes are one tight live act. Their set at Brighton Music Hall for the Boston Does Boston show to benefit the Animal Rescue League of Boston warmed up the crowd on a cold December night. Event organizer Jason Dunn even joined the band for a cover of “House of the Rising Sun.”

We brought the boys down to The Sinclair on a Saturday afternoon for November’s Rock-n-Romp event. These family friendly rock shows are a great way to spend a couple of hours for those of us with kids. The Luxury got this one started on the right foot.
The Luxury closed out a musically diverse night that raised some money for Rosie’s Place. I was happy to see these guys helping to make good things happen. Well done.
The Luxury do majestic indie rock in a big way. Their set at TT’s featured some new faces and new tunes, but the sound was was as grand as ever.
