The 15th Annual Hot Stove Cool Music show to benefit The Foundation To Be Named Later came to a close with The Cavedogs getting together again to rock The Paradise.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you some photos of The Juliana Hatfield Three performing together for the first time in some twenty-odd years. Their set at Hot Stove Cool Music may have only been a few songs, but it sure did sound good. Really good. Their February show at The Sinclair can’t come soon enough for this fan.
OK, so is this technically a Letters To Cleo reunion? I dunno, but when you’ve got this many of the band’s members on The Paradise stage for Hot Stove Cool Music sounding this good, it’s easy to let yourself think so. Let’s go with it. After all, it’s for a good cause.
After dueting with Mike Gent on “You’re So Vain,” Tanya Donelly was joined by Gail Greenwood for a handful of Belly tunes. Wow. Being able to witness those kinds of moments while raising money for a good cause is part of what makes Hot Stove Cool Music so special. Well done.
In addition to hosting the Hot Stove Cool Music show to raise money for The Foundation To Be Named Later, Mike O’Malley took a turn with the house band to sing “Glad And Sorry.” Oh, you can also find photos of Mr. O’Malley in these posts. Go take a look. You’ve earned it.

Jen Trynin took the stage at Hot Stove Cool Music to perform a killer rendition of “Better Than Nothing.” The song sounded better than ever, delivering the first of many ’90s flashback frenzies the night would provide.
What would Hot Stove Cool Music be without a shoot-from-the-hip set by the Hot Stove All Stars? A rotating cast of well-known characters took to The Paradise stage with smiles on their faces and songs in their hearts. Good times for a good cause.
