Doom Lover brought down the curtain on their special event grand flourish.
Oh, hello. I didn’t see you there. Have a look around. Can I show you a few photos of a band I really like? They’re called Doom Lover. They make sounds with their voices and instruments that make me happy. What more could I ask for?
Here are Doom Lover being all Doom Lover-y at TT’s. That’s about the highest praise I can think to give this musical collective right now. I dig what they do big time.
Intensity and atmosphere. Doom Lover hit on both points. Add a healthy dose of harmonies and dynamics and you’ve pulled me in.
Doom Lover just doom loved their way into our hearts at TT’s. Equal parts energizing and aching, their set was a glorious way to kick off Prelim Night #2 of the 2014 Rock ‘N’ Roll Rumble.

We all know that Anngelle Wood loves a rock ‘n’ roll party, so it should come as no surprise that the one she threw to celebrate 5 years of hosting Boston Emissions was a good one. Doom Lover got things going with a riotous set.
On a night when a lot of things were out of the ordinary, Doom Lover pulled off something extraordinary. While Jeffrey Vachon sang his heart out, two of his bandmates performed a shadow puppet show that demonstrated the kind of heart this band has. I’ve never seen anything like it in a rock club. I won’t soon forget it.
Oh, Doom Lover can rip it up pretty good, too…
