There was a point during this Sunday night at TT’s when I thought it might be my final trip to the historic club. While I would make it out to one more show, I realized that watching The Daily Pravda own that stage one more time wouldn’t have been a bad way to go out.
It’s quite a feat to come off as grand and edgy, but The Daily Pravda managed to do just that in only three songs at the Q Division/Concerted Efforts/Moontower Holiday Party. Neat trick.
The Daily Pravda are grand. Their set in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Rumble Semifinals was majestic. These guys have become one of the best in the city.

The 2013 Rock ‘N’ Roll Rumble saved one of its best for last.* The Daily Pravda took the stage as the final participant of the preliminary round and walked off with a win for the night after an electrifying set. Outstanding.
* It’s almost as if Richard Bouchard’s hat knew something magical was going to happen.

The Daily Pravda’s set at TT’s last Tuesday was the best I’ve seen from the band. They’re ready to Rumble.
The Daily Pravda brought a touch of glam-laden Britpop to Somerville. They closed out a night at Precinct that celebrated the release of their new Dead House EP.
The Daily Pravda play retro-modern Britpop with a glam twist. They played their first (non-Bowie tribute) show in a year at Great Scott last Thursday.
