The Prefab Messiahs went to another dimension with their trippy retro-pop for the release of their new Maxi-EP at The Middle East.
They were one of the best bands in town as The Fagettes. They continue to be one of the best bands in town as The Barbazons. What they call themselves and why is their business. I’m just glad they’re a band.

There’s nothing I don’t like about Beware the Dangers of a Ghost Scorpion! Their twangy, surf-exotica sound with its horror punk soul rings loud and true in my ears.
I don’t know if the world is ready for Boogie Boy Metal Mouth, but I’m glad they’re not waiting around to find out. They went all in at The Middle East for an Illegally Blind show.

Garage rock with a punk delivery is the name of the game with Black Beach. These guys ripped it up on a night when the sounds of fuzzed out rock ‘n’ roll filled the air in Central Square.
