The Modifiers @ Radio 10.11.2012

I can’t think of a better band to kick off the Bands For Babs benefit than The Modifiers. Barbara Walsh and The Modifiers go way back. Their set was like the first robin of the spring. It was going to be a fun couple of nights at Radio helping out our dear friend.

That Beatles Band @ Radio 10.6.2012

Here we’ve got some members of local rock acts taking time to pay tribute to The Beatles. We’re always looking for ways to expose the little guys to live music, so we took the kids down to Radio on a Saturday afternoon to catch some tunes from That Beatles Band. The kids treated the club like a gymnasium while we all enjoyed band.

The Tenafly Vipers @ Radio 10.5.2012

Loud, fast and rattling the walls, The Tenafly Vipers closed out Nicole Tammaro’s book release party.

Razors In The Night @ Radio 10.5.2012

Razors In The Night bring it fast, heavy and tight. They owned Radio for their set at Nicole Tammaro’ book release party.

Full Body Anchor @ Radio 10.5.2012

Full Body Anchor ripped it up as a four piece on the Radio stage for Nicole Tammaro’s book release party. I’ve never seen a band as intense as Full Body Anchor have so much fun. Normally, that’s a delicate balancing act. Full Body Anchor flat-out levitates.

AM Stereo @ Radio 10.5.2012

I love AM Stereo. How much do I love them? I just saw them twice in a week and if they played again tonight I’d be there. This set of disaster rock* was to celebrate the release of Nicole Tammaro’s new rock photography book. I’ll have pics from Bands For Babs coming up soon.

* Boston’s finest since 1998!

Mike Savitkas @ Radio 10.5.2012

Mike Savitkas played an assortment of heart-on-sleeve rockers to open the release party for Nicole Tammaro’s new photo book.* Sometimes all it takes is a one man, a good song and an acoustic guitar.

* The book is well worth picking up. Good stuff.

The Upper Crust @ Davis Square Theatre 9.29.2012

The Upper Crust looked down their noses at those assembled at the Davis Square Theatre for the Crash Safely benefit. Their Rocque was more than the crowd deserved, peasant that they are. The Upper Crust delivered their special brand of noble debauchery in grand style.
