Conjuring up some magical blend of power and melody, The Organ Beats lit up the Sinclair stage with a vibrant sound.
The Juliana Hatfield Three @ Paradise Rock Club 1.10.2015
And now, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you some photos of The Juliana Hatfield Three performing together for the first time in some twenty-odd years. Their set at Hot Stove Cool Music may have only been a few songs, but it sure did sound good. Really good. Their February show at The Sinclair can’t come soon enough for this fan.
Jesse Dee @ The Sinclair 12.29.2014
Jesse Dee got The Sinclair crowd going with a little bit of soul. OK, a lot bit of soul.
Aquanutz @ T.T. The Bear’s Place 12.23.2014
The TT’s Holiday Party closed out with a set of hair metal classics from Aquanutz. There were ample amounts of hairspray and high-proof alcohol in use for authenticity. Both fueled a kind of debauchery fitting of the source material. I’m pretty sure this show landed a few people on the naughty list.
Goddamn Draculas @ Boston Music Awards 12.14.2014
Like Sidewalk Driver right before them, Goddamn Draculas took to the Space 57 Stage at the Revere Hotel to celebrate their Live Artist Of The Year nomination at the 2014 Boston Music Awards.
Ruby Rose Fox @ Q Division 12.12.2014
Ruby Rose Fox and her band wowed the party-goers assembled for the Q Division/Concerted Efforts/Moontower Holiday Party. Even with a short set, she always leaves her mark.
Will Dailey @ Q Division 12.12.2014
Will Dailey had a big year. He brought a big band to the small confines of the Q Division/Concerted Efforts/Moontower Holiday Party for a memorable set.
Doom Lover @ T.T. The Bear’s Place 12.5.2014
Here are Doom Lover being all Doom Lover-y at TT’s. That’s about the highest praise I can think to give this musical collective right now. I dig what they do big time.
Jenny Dee & The Deelinquents @ Lizard Lounge 11.7.2014
Jenny Dee & The Deelinquents celebrated the release of their crazy good new record with a crazy good release show at the Lizard Lounge. Has there ever been a band that so effortlessly blends girl group R&B, new wave and symphonic pop? Wowzers.
Triple Thick @ The Middle East Upstairs 10.17.2014
Triple Thick rock ‘n’ roll. The folks attending Crash Safely got a good garage rock thumping while raising money for the National MS Society. I love it.
