Their set at Hot Stove Cool Music may have only been a few songs, but it sure did sound good. Really good. Their February show at The Sinclair can’t come soon enough for this fan.

The TT’s Holiday Party closed out with a set of hair metal classics from Aquanutz. There were ample amounts of hairspray and high-proof alcohol in use for authenticity. Both fueled a kind of debauchery fitting of the source material. I’m pretty sure this show landed a few people on the naughty list.

Jenny Dee & The Deelinquents celebrated the release of their crazy good new record with a crazy good release show at the Lizard Lounge. Has there ever been a band that so effortlessly blends girl group R&B, new wave and symphonic pop? Wowzers.
Triple Thick rock ‘n’ roll. The folks attending Crash Safely got a good garage rock thumping while raising money for the National MS Society. I love it.
