The Electric Heaters brought their surf/spy/lounge/noir instrumentals to Idle Hands for the brewery’s anniversary party. The growing clouds added to the atmosphere as the band mixed in a few spooky tunes appropriate for the season.
The Chelsea Curve blasted out a set of tight and catchy tunes to close out a very fun afternoon of music at The Worthen Attic in Lowell.
I was unfamiliar with the music of Stop Calling Me Frank before this past Sunday afternoon’s show at The Worthen Attic. I’m not sure what I expected, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the garage-punk-power-pop-sax-and-harmonies fireworks I just witnessed.
That was fun.

It’s been far, far too long since I’ve seen Sidewalk Driver. Does absence make the heart grow fonder? Perhaps I would have found out if I didn’t already love this band with every fiber of my being. As a band and as humans they don’t come any better.
