The Lights Out have honed their craft. They take the Radio stage knowing exactly what is going to happen.
Then it happens.

Boston Rock Photos And Stuff
Sunday night shows aren’t supposed to be this good. I’ve already seen fantastic sets by The Fagettes and Thick Shakes. Now Bozmo are blowing the roof off of Radio. What a great night for rock n’ roll.
I’ve raved about The Fagettes recordings before. Now I’m going to rave about them as a live band.
The Fagettes are loose, wailing and willing. This band turns old school rock n’ roll tricks like nobody’s business. Dynamite.
Here we have Taps at a benefit for The Boston Initiative to Advance Human Rights. Taps has a cool mix of digital and analog. They’re electronic! They’re acoustic! They’ve got an SM-57 on the snare (laying right on the snare)!
When I first saw Bo & Rachel they hadn’t yet decided on what to call their musical partnership. They’ve now decided to go with The Wrong Shapes. Their name may have changed, but the music is still mesmerizing. The guitar and cello interplay is hypnotic. I find the whole thing rather fascinating.
It’s a Thursday night at Radio and I’m bouncing between floors. I came here tonight to catch the first show in the new downstairs lounge. Since I’m here, I figure I’ll check out the benefit for The Boston Initiative to Advance Human Rights going on upstairs.
I manage to catch a few songs by Beautiful Weekend. The sound is eerie and warm, slowly rising over the din of the bar. It hangs in the air, inviting in anyone who wants to listen.
