The Drax were larger than life while releasing their new album at The Middle East. They took the stage in the big room and made it feel small. This was their moment and they made the most of it. Surrender to the Goddamn Draculas.
Goddamn Draculas took the stage in front of a packed house at the House of Blues opening for Cheap Trick. Understanding the gravity of the moment, the band unleashed a triumphant set of riffs, hooks, laughs, friendship and those trademark killer harmonies. Well done, gentlemen. You’ve done this city proud.
Goddamn Draculas were the most consistently great band of the 2014 Rock ‘N’ Roll Rumble. With the perfect mix of punch, polish, humor and harmonies, they left their mark. Goddamn Draculas are the 2014 Rock ‘N’ Roll Rumble champs! Everyone gets a hug!
The illegitimate spawn of Journey and AC/DC just mainlined some punk rock and descended upon TT’s with a vengeance. Sweet, sweet harmonies wrap their black wings around you as their power chords go for the kill. Goddamn Draculas take Rumble Prelim Night #2.
Even being aware of the band’s penchant for killer harmonies after seeing them open for Imperial State Electric, I was still taken aback by the way Goddamn Draculas can blend a vocal smoothie. Toss in some big guitars and you’ve got a recipe for… ugh, this is so silly. Forget I said any of that. Wait, don’t forget the part about the killer harmonies. That part was important. Anyway, here are some pics of Goddamn Draculas at The Middle East Downstairs…
Loud guitars and killer harmonies? Goddamn Draculas have ’em and weren’t afraid to use ’em opening for Imperial State Electric.
