Letters To Cleo wrapped up their Clambake weekend at The Beachcomber with another ridiculously fun set in the summer heat. Maybe this will become a thing. I sure hope so.
Letters To Cleo kicked off their fantastic Clambake weekend at The Beachcomber by ripping through a “Demon Rock”/”Fast Way” double shot and never looked back.
I’ve seen Letters To Cleo a bunch of times. In college it seemed like every time my friend Brian came to visit they’d be playing one of the Providence clubs. He came to visit a lot. We saw some fun shows. None sounded as good as the other night when Letters To Cleo played Wholesale Meats and Fish in its entirety (and then some). Very nice.
OK, so is this technically a Letters To Cleo reunion? I dunno, but when you’ve got this many of the band’s members on The Paradise stage for Hot Stove Cool Music sounding this good, it’s easy to let yourself think so. Let’s go with it. After all, it’s for a good cause.
