Tim Gearan and his stellar cohorts notched another genre-defying night of his residency at Atwood’s.
Here are some photos of Abbie Barrett And The Last Date. Take a look. They’re a wonderful group of people playing really well written songs. Oh, and they’re an absolute joy to watch. They played the Magen Tracy EP release the other night at Atwood’s. I enjoyed myself. Maybe you would, too. It’s worth a try.
Magen Tracy has just released a powerful new EP. To celebrate, she brought The Missed Connections to the cozy confines of Atwood’s for a stellar night of music played by some of my favorite people in town.
Thanks to Jed Gottlieb putting together this fine show at Atwood’s, I am reminded that Animal Talk are a ton of fun. It’s not like I forgot about their insanely catchy melodies or undeniable groove. I have the knowledge. Sometimes you just need a little nudge to make it feel more real. Like with “don’t read the comments” or “that milkshake looks delicious but you’re lactose intolerant.” Animal Talk are an excellent band that will make you want to move.
Look, I know this show at Atwood’s is a tie-in to Jed Gottlieb’s wonderful series of guitar videos, but when Jen & Henry from Aloud take the stage it’s all about the harmonies. And the songs. OK, and the guitars, too.
